We hold fun, family friendly events like our annual Summer Party BBQ, an Australia Day/Waitangi Day celebration, High Tea for our Honourary Members and a Christmas party. We also commemorate ANZAC Day each year.
You’ll even get a taste of home at our events, with your favourite Aussie and Kiwi foods and drinks!
Other activities planned by members include walks and lunch, dinners, wine tasting and tours of Dutch museums, monuments and buildings of cultural or historical significance.
The Summer Garden Party
Our popular Summer Garden Party is a true family affair, and has been held at different locations throughout the years. It is usually held at the NZ or Australian Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague…and we usually have perfect weather!
Friday Night Dinners
We have held dinners in different locations throughout the Randstad (central West NL, containing Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht).

The Melbourne Cup Day Event
Grab your hat and fascinators, and join us at the races! We have been to the Melbourne Cup Day Event at Duindigt Racecourse in Wassenaar – always a spectacle. You can compete in ‘Fashion on the Field’ and bet on the gee-gees, while enjoying good company, food and drinks.
Walking Tours
Walking tours are a great way to get out and about and explore the Netherlands together.
Christmas Drinks
Our Christmas soiree is usually held at the Australian Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague.
