We hold fun, family friendly events like our annual Summer Party BBQ, our ANZAC Day commemoration, Christmas festivities, and of course our Australia Day/Waitangi Day celebration.

You’ll even get a taste of home at some events, when we serve your favourite Aussie and Kiwi foods and drinks!

Other activities include coffee mornings to pub nights, book and movie nights, exercise and sporting get-togethers, BBQs and wine tastings, and tours of Dutch monuments and buildings of cultural or historical significance.

Take a sneak peek at some of our past events in the galleries below, and check out our recent events on other pages.

Summer Garden Party

Our popular Summer Garden Party is a true family affair, and has been held at different locations throughout the years. In 2019 (and 2022) we were lucky enough to be invited to the Australian Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague…with perfect weather to boot!

Friday Night Dinners

Our Friday Night Dinners are held at the end of each month, in different locations throughout the Randstad (central West NL, containing Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht).

Your recommendations are always welcome!

The Melbourne Cup Day Event

Grab your hat and fascinators, and join us at the races! Our annual Melbourne Cup Day Event at Duindigt Racecourse in Wassenaar is always a spectacle. We compete in ‘Fashion on the Field’ and bet on the gee-gees while enjoying good company, food and drinks.

Walking Tours and Cultural Events

Walking tours are a great way to get out and about, enjoy a good chat and explore the Netherlands together. Our Club also celebrates/commemorates important cultural events such as ANZAC Day, Australia Day and Waitangi Day.

Christmas Soiree

Our Christmas Soiree is usually held at the Australian Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague.

It’s always a fabulous occasion!

THE ONLINE ANZC BOOK CLUB

The ANZC Book Club meets online every month (or two, depending on the book.) We read a mix of Australian, New Zealand and other authors, fiction and non-fiction.

This event is open to all Full and Associate members. Enjoy a discussion about the book, and the opportunity to catch up. Even if you haven’t read the book, observers are welcome to participate!
